It all started when…

I found a lump in my left breast in the Spring of 2021. A lot was happening in my life at the time: I was getting ready to relocate from Ireland to Singapore to take my dream job, as well as to reunite with my husband after the global COVID-19 pandemic had separated us for over a year. The last thing I needed was an earthquake disrupting my entire life.

But that’s what my breast cancer diagnosis was. A disruption, but also a blessing. It turned my life upside down. In the face of death I had to learn how to start living.
